Aloha! My name is Alicyn and I started working with resin in early 2019. It was at this time where I had recently moved from Oahu, HI to Southern California and my late grandfather had just passed away. He was an incredible abstract artist and I inherited his art supplies. I was in desperate need of a creative outlet to capture the beaches, the islands, the tropics that I loved and pay homage to the land of my grandparents. It was at this time that I knew I wanted to dabble in resin and mixed media.
I wanted to learn the ins and outs of using resin to recreate the beaches that I loved and spent so much time mastering the techniques I use now. I'm so excited to be able to share it with you and can't wait for you to explore where your creativity takes you!
